Distribution Research-Self

By holding a strong social media following, Self magazine has been able to establish a following that has allowed to distribute its content amongst a vast and diverse audience. Compared to other magazines of the same genre, they started out attending events to share their name and their vision; they had to find someone to back them and get them started. Once they became successful, collaborations with large name brands has allowed Self to be able to begin their subscription service, standout in checkout lines and book stores, as well as be displayed in everyday meeting places. If my magazine follows suit, it will prove to either be as successful or more successful because it is following a path that proved to have a positive outcome. Such distribution has permitted Self magazine, and eventually my magazine, for being commonly known and shared amongst groups of people that have similar lifestyles or are looking to better their health and lifestyle.
